Dr. Christopher Bandera graduated from The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College of New York and joined our practice in 2016. Dr. Bandera says watching his mother battle cancer inspired him to pursue a career in medicine, and volunteer work with children at Memorial Sloan-Kettering steered him into pediatrics.

He loves watching our PedsNY children and their families flourish, and he centers his care around shared decision-making and collaboration. Patient and empathetic, Dr. Bandera is a favorite with patients and parents alike.

In his off hours, Dr. Bandera enjoys running and is a big sports fan, rooting for the Mets, New York City Football Club, and St. John’s University, among others. He also has a passion for collecting baseball cards and memorabilia.
