IN MEMORIAM

Michael Levi and Max Kahn started the practice in 1979 in a small office on West 86th Street. Under his guidance and expertise, Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine has grown to a vibrant pediatric practice while maintaining rigorous academic standards yet providing the same warmth and individual attention to each patient that allowed the practice to thrive.

Dr. Levi was born on the Upper Westside himself. He did his undergraduate education at Lehigh University and medical school at SUNY Downstate. He went on to do his pediatric residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he met Max Kahn.

Dr. Levi was a mentor to many residents and medical students at Bellevue Hospital, where he worked in the pediatric emergency room and clinic.

His memory lives on in the hearts of the thousands of families he has cared for, and his name remains on our front door.
